GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for orders from the order receipt to final shipment.
Assist the dealer network
with any customer service issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review all new truck orders for correct dealer/customer information and pricing
Resolve problems and enter into system
Coordinate with purchasing and production planning to establish optimum delivery dates
Review order status periodically to assure delivery promises are met,
advise customer of
reason for any delays
Send weekly order status report and available stock report to all dealers
Process all truck order changes, re-price as necessary, and update sales information
in SAP
Compile all acknowledgement copies and distribute internally to Linde personnel and
externally to customers
Determine and recommend appropriate substitutes to expedite orders
Respond to customer inquiries on deliveries, available stock, and lead times
Create and manage open/closed sales, production and warranty files; and various truck
order reporting
Maintain cancellation orders and cancellation report
Initiate change/cancellation orders and applicable fees, as necessary
Process and update blanket orders
Update booking report
QUALIFICATIONS:
ERP/MRP system knowledge - SAP experience a plus
Thorough knowledge of product pricing, delivery systems, and contract arrangements
Knowledge of available options and configurations
Excellent communicator
Detail-oriented
Must work well independently and as a team
