GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
Establishes, manages and maintains retail distributor/dealer
relationship in assigned region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes a Business Plan that
sets specific marketing goals and objectives for each
distributorship/dealer in assigned region. Works in concert
with the distributor/dealer to
achieve such goals.
Acts as primary liaison/contact between distributorship/dealer
and Company and is
responsible for communications on marketing matters;
relationship issues; changes in
corporate positions and/or policy.
Makes routine personal visits to each distributorship/dealer for
the purpose of product
training; marketing objective management; end user/customer
visits; corporate com-
munication on behalf of the Company.
While not traveling, maintains continual contact with each
distributorship/dealer through
telephone, facsimile, e-mail and other means of communication
for the purpose of
product sales promotion, problem resolution, marketing needs,
goal achievement status.
Assist with distributorship/dealer recruitment for open
territories to insure complete
marketing coverage of the geographical area assigned.
May become involved in direct end user/customer communications
for the purpose of
product sales promotion, problem resolution, and technical
discussions.
Participates in product training
activities both at the factory and dealer locations;
prospect/customer visits to the factory; other promotional
events as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Sales experience in the industrial
truck industry preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
